After a campaign that’s been described as an attempt at "milking public anger" in the wake of a government corruptionscandal, Jimmy Morales has secured the presidential throne in Guatemala with a whopping 68 percent of the vote in a landslide victory. "As president I received a mandate," Morales told a crowd of supporters following Sunday's election, according to Reuters. "The mandate of the people of Guatemala is to fight against the corruption that is consuming us."

But who is Jimmy Morales, you ask? An upstart politician? A longtime government employee finally breaking out on his own in a remarkable move of political prowess? Nah. He’s a comedian:
