Tom Cruise helped close out the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics with a massive stunt that saw him participate in skydiving off the Stade de France.

On Sunday, the city of Paris, France, officially closed out the 2024 Summer Olympics, and the actor gave them a hand to pass over the event to the next host city, Los Angeles. For the stunt, Cruise wore a harness and jumped off the top of the Stade de France and onto the stadium grounds, where athletes cheered and greeted him.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and seven-time gold medal gymnast Simone Biles then handed Cruise the Olympic flag, which he attached to the back of a motorcycle, and rode off into a video that highlighted his journey to the City of Angels.

Cruise rode past various Parisian landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower in the video, and ended up on a plane where he changed into some skydiving gear before jumping out of it and onto the legendary Hollywood sign. He then changed the sign's letter O into the Olympic rings and handed the flag to Olympic cyclist Kate Courtney, who took it through LA with assistance from Olympians Michael Johnson and Jagger Eaton.

The whole montage ended with Courtney arriving at a performance by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Billie Eilish. The upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics games will take place from July 14 to July 30, with the opening and closing ceremonies at SoFi Stadium and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, respectively.
