Jason T. Wilson was arrested after fighting with police who discovered he had a "full-size" machete strapped to his leg outside the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL, yesterday. Police spotted Wilson in a designated convention zone and ordered him to stop, but he ignored them, saying he could carry whatever he wanted. When police attempted to restrain him, he fought back.
Machete Wilson was charged with possessing prohibited items in the event zone and resisting arrest. No word on whether or not the arrest will swing Wilson's political views.
