Demi Moore came under scrutiny after she appeared to snub Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes.

A video of Moore chatting with Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet at the awards ceremony has been circulating online, which shows the two celebrities congratulating Moore on winning a Golden Globe for her lead role in The Substance.

Sitting between Fanning and Chalamet at their table was Kylie Jenner, who can also be heard congratulating Moore. However, it appears that the actress ignores the socialite, which prompted ire from some online.

Moore’s daughter, Tallulah, fired back at the critics on her Instagram Story, saying that fans need to give her mom "a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!"

"Hi @everyone but really press, NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD,” Tallulah wrote, “we spent new year with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do, this angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishers.”

She continued: "There was not [sic] snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space.”

If you look closely at the video, Moore does seem to acknowledge and thank Jenner.

On Sunday night, the 62-year-old won best performance by a female actor in a musical or comedy for her role as Elizabeth Sparkle in the horror film, The Substance. It was also Moore’s first-ever acting award.
