Amber Rose Claims Wiz Khalifa Encouraged Her to Endorse Donald Trump
The model co-signed Trump for president in May, posting a photo of her, Donald, and Melania.
Amber Rose says Wiz Khalifa emboldened her to endorse Donald Trump.
The model appeared on Candace Owens’ podcast, where Rose discussed the controversial photo of her posing with Donald and Melania back in May, which Rose captioned, “Trump 2024.”
“In your mind, when did you decide, ‘I’m just going to post this photo. MAGA, goodbye, I’m with Donald Trump and Melania’—because that obviously became a moment on the internet,” Owens asked at around the 28:55 minute mark.
“My ex-husband actually told me to do it—Wiz,” Amber responded.
“He told me to do it, yeah, although he’s not political at all and he’s not voting,” she continued. “He’s really one of my best friends, I love him so much, still to this day. He’s just such a great person."
“But I went to him and I was just like, ‘I feel like I’m living a lie.’ And it’s so much more than Trump but just me as a person, I was just like, ‘I’m so unhappy.’ I’m starting to hate everyone, and I was never like that. I was always full of love. I just wanna be me and I don’t know how to be me.”
Rose added, “I told him I wanted to post the picture. He’s like, ‘Amber, post that shit.’ … I’m like, ‘For real? I should?’ He’s like, ‘Do it. Who cares? You’re voting for Trump, is that what you wanna do?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m kind of really into it.’ … He put a battery in my back and I was like, ‘Alright I’m gonna do it.’”

Since May, the 40-year-old has doubled and tripled down on her endorsement of Trump. After sharing that bombshell photo of her with the ex-president on Instagram, Rose also posted a since-deleted photo of her posing in a bikini with a MAGA hat. Then, in mid-July, she spoke at the RNC, where she claimed Trump isn’t racist.
“I’m here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, that the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump president of the United States,” Rose exclaimed during her speech.
“I’m no politician and I don’t wanna be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump,” she continued. “I know this because for a long time, I believed those lies.”
