Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly taken on a new and exciting role.

According to public records reviewed by TMZ, the 31-year-old actress recently welcomed her first child. Though the outlet could not verify the baby’s birthday or sex, it confirmed Lawerence had given birth somewhere in Los Angeles County. The Oscar-winner and her husband, Cooke Maroney, have yet to publicly announce the big news.

Rumors of Lawrence’s pregnancy began swirling last summer, when fans noticed she was sporting what appeared to be a baby bump. The couple confirmed they were expecting in September, but declined to reveal the baby’s sex or due date. During a 2021 interview with Vanity Fair, the Don’t Look Up star explained why she’s so tight-lipped about her family life and her pregnancy.

“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’” she said. “But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

This is Lawrence and Cooke’s first child. The couple reportedly met back in 2018 and tied the knot about a year later with a ceremony in Rhode Island.
