Fans of the ultra-popular Marvel vs. Capcom video game franchise have been waiting five long years for the release of the follow up to Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.Well, it looks like the wait is almost over. Well, sort of. On Saturday, Sony revealed at The PlayStation Experience (PSX) 2016 the title and the trailer for the hugely anticipated fourth installment of the popular series. It’ll be called Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, and it’s slated for release at the end of next year.

That’s quite a while for hardcore fans to wait, especially after the juicy new trailer teased a game that figures to be heavy on the bone-crunching combat that made its predecessors so wildly popular. According to a statement posted on Playstation’s blog, the game will feature “single player arcade, training and mission modes,” and “a visually stunning and immersive cinematic story mode” that will put players “at the center of both universes as they battle for supremacy against powerful forces and a new villain.”

For those of you unfamiliar with the franchise, it basically pits classic video game characters from the Capcom universe—think Street Fighter and Mega Man—against Marvel’s most vaunted heroes. Based on the trailer, Ryu, Mega Man, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man will all be featured in the new game. Keep an eye out for more announcements on characters from both camps.
