Less than a year after the end of his 31-year run as host of his syndicated daytime talk show, Maury Povich appears ready to begin his second act.

TMZ reports the 84-year-old is launching an at-home DNA paternity testing company, The Results Are In, appropriately named after the famous catchphrase Povich would use on Maury when announcing the results of paternity tests for the guests on his show.

The testing kits will include instructions on how to administer a DNA sample, which will then be sent striaght to a lab at DNA Diagnostics Center.

"I've seen firsthand how DNA testing can change lives and bring families together," Povich told TMZ. "With 'The Results Are In,' we're making it easier and more affordable than ever before for people to get the answers they need."

The news is hardly surprising, as the legendary TV host has never shied away from acknowledging the significant role paternity tests played on the Maury.

“[Maury episodes] touch so many classic themes, whether it’s love, distrust, conflict, drama,” Povich told the Chicago Tribune in 2012. “And the paternity shows in particular, you’ve got he-said, she-said, is-he-the-father, isn’t-he. While soap operas play those themes out over six months, we play them out over 12 minutes.”

Povich's post-retirement pivot arrives several months after NBCUniversal pulled the plug on Maury after 31 seasons on the air and more than 3,600 episodes produced.
