Jay-Z is back on Instagram to promote his latest project as a film producer, The Book of Clarence.

Hov, who serves as a producer for the Jeymes Samuel-directed biblical film, reactivated his page on Tuesday to post the first teaser trailer. It's his second time teaming with the helmer of The Harder They Fall.

Set to hit theaters Jan. 12, 2024, The Book of Clarence stars LaKeith Stanfield and Omar Sy, and will feature new music from Jay-Z and Samuel.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Jay expressed his fear that audiences would “immediately just focus on the religious aspect of it and not the human story," before noting that religion is merely a "backdrop" to a deeper theme the film focuses on.

“This story is about a young man who finds his faith through love and through wanting to become somebody in the world, which is the story of everybody," Hov shared. "Everyone wants to find love and everyone wants to leave this place having accomplished something, having left their mark that they’ve been here and hopefully affected the world in a positive way.”

Alongside Stanfield and Sy, The Book of Clarence cast includes Teyana Taylor, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, Alfre Woodard, Anna Diop, RJ Cyler, Caleb McLaughlin, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, James McAvoy, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Watch the full teaser trailer below, and catch the flick in January.
