In a post shared on TikTok, Julia Fox addressed her brother Christopher Fox’s arrest on charges including the possession of explosive-making materials.
Her father Thomas Fox, who was present at the home at the time of Christopher’s arrest, was also arrested, but Julia started off her post by stressing her dad was released the same night and had no involvement.
"The media did sensationalize it a little, he definitely was not making bombs or—I mean, I don't know, whatever," she said. "But I can only imagine, because I know my brother and I’ve always known him to be like—I’m not kidding, you guys—the sweetest, most gentle, kind, soft-spoken, loves animals, loves to plant flowers, has a green thumb, like, loves nature. But I will say that both my brother and I have a lot of trauma and the difference is that I’m scrappy, I’m a fighter and I, through my aggression, was able to release a lot of that rage.”
Meanwhile, she said her brother “internalized” his trauma and has suffered for it. Fox suggested he will finally be able to “get the help that I’ve been trying to get him for so long.” She clarified that there’s not much more she can offer on the topic, as the case is ongoing.
“I wish I could say more but I don’t want to damage his case or anything like that, but I will say that I’m just embarrassed,” said Fox.
Last week, Christopher Fox was detained following a police raid on his apartment. NYPD’s Ghost Gun Team entered his home following reports from neighbors regarding “suspicious” deliveries to his address. When they searched the apartment, they discovered illegal, untraceable gun parts and machinery that presses pills. They also found pressure cookers, fentanyl, chloroform, heroin, propane, formaldehyde, items used to build explosives, and ghost guns.
Fox is facing charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, manufacture of a machine gun, manufacture of a rapid-fire modified device, manufacture of a dangerous instrument, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
