UPDATE 8:54 p.m.:

After getting himself into a PR crisis earlier by endorsing Donald Trump, Avengers' star Anthony Mackie has clarified his comments tweeting:

Well, at least the Donald's still got this guy's endorsement. Right?

See original story below.

Anthony Mackie is starring alongside Sandra Bullock in Our Brand Is Crisis, an upcoming film about an American campaign strategists who are hired to help install a new leader in South America. In the trailer Mackie's character gives Bullock's a description of the presidential hopeful telling her, "Our candidate is considered arrogant and out of touch with people's lives," which is hilarious because during a promo run Mackie sat down with BET and basically endorsed Donald Trump, who's also arrogant and out of touch.

When asked which campaign he would rather run, Hillary's or Donald's, the actor answered, "I would 100 percent want to run Trump's campaign. 100 percent. I mean, first that'll be the best party ever when he won, and second, Trump's an easy sell." That sounds like an endorsement right? You bet your sweet ass. Mackie then says he's "on the bandwagon" and "drinking the Kool-Aid," when asked if his prior statements were an endorsement.

Just remember that Mackie tends to say ridiculous things. Like that time when he said this about dreadlocks?
