Beyoncé and JAY-Z's daughter Blue Ivy's brilliance knows no bounds.

On Saturday, Blue's grandmother, Tina Lawson, posted a video of Blue using the black pepper and soap experiment to illustrate the importance of washing your hands during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the video, Blue explains, “This is why it’s important to wash your hands.” Pointing to a small dish, she says, “I have a mixture of a lot of different types of soap inside of this.” She then points to a bigger bowl, saying, “This is the coronavirus or any virus. It’s actually just pepper.”

“So you’re going to want to stick your finger inside of the mixture of soaps, make sure you get a lot on there. Then put your finger in it.” She then sticks her finger in the middle of the large bowl, and when she does so, the pepper immediately moves away from her finger.

“The virus goes out,” she explains. “This is why it’s very important to wash your hands ‘cause if you wash your hands, your hands will stay clean. But if you keep your hands dirty, you might get sick.”

She ended the video on an encouraging note: “So peace out, I hope you guys are staying safe. Wash your hands extra and please stay at home. Love y’all.”

While the experiment has become pretty popular during the current global health crisis, it seems like Blue’s iteration ethered the rest.
