Terry Jane Paul, who goes by @InThierry on Twitter, unearthed a clip showing Joe Exotic, the focal point in the popular Netflix docuseries Tiger King, complaining about why he can't say the n-word just because he’s white.

”What’s going on, in here, in this country?,” Joe wonders in the clip, which has since gone viral. “It’s absolutely pathetic. I can’t say the N-word, but you can get on YouTube, and watch any black man’s rap video, and they’re calling each other the N-word. What the hell, is this discrimination? I’m white, I can’t say the N-word?”

The clip is taken from a longer video, which TMZ reports is lost footage from 2015, in which Exotic also takes aim at the United States Department of Agriculture for refusing to issue licenses to people living in the town of Gay, Georgia.

While the clip shows us an even darker side of Tiger King's breakout star, it’s a side of him that many people aren’t surprised to see come to the forefront. Bun B weighed in on Instagram, posting the clip and captioning it, "No Joe. You’re pathetic. Later for this clown."

In the comments, T-Wayne chimed in with, "Ahh nah joe need his ass beat."

Based on the reaction online, people would have been more shocked to discover that Exotic hadn’t used the n-word before.
