Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I. Search for the Next Rap Star in 'Rhythm + Flow' Teaser

The hip-hop competition series is set to debut on Oct. 9.

On Sunday morning, Netflix uploaded a teaser trailer for their forthcoming hip-hop reality competition series Rhythm + Flow, which had previously aired at Cardi B’s co-headlining set at the 2019 Made In America Festival. In addition to trying to entertain you, the potential viewer, the series is aiming to find the next big hip-hop artist with the help of a trio of big name judges, specifically: T.I.Chance the Rapper, and the aforementioned Cardi B.

According to a press release from Netflix, the show will scour for the genre's next big artist in traditional hip-hop hubs, including: New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta.

In addition to the brief trailer (embedded above), Netflix also announced the show's premiere date, which is Wednesday, Oct. 9. That will be the first of three consecutive Wednesdays that'll see the release of new episodes, with the series ultimately consisting of ten hour-long shows. As it breaks down, the release schedule is currently set to look like this:

Week 1 (Wednesday, Oct. 9): The Auditions (episodes 1-4) 

Week 2 (Wednesday, Oct. 16): Cyphers, Rap Battles & Music Videos (episodes 5-7)

Week 3 (Wednesday, Oct. 23):  Samples, Collaborations & Finale (episodes 8-10)
