Former Disney star Bella Thorne will be honored by Pornhub for an adult movie she directed for the platform.

The 21-year-old will recieve a Vision Award for her film Her & Him. The movie was created via the porn tube site's Visionaries Director's Series, which hopes to diversify and otherwise normalize porn by bringing in outside artists to work in the adult industry.

"It was a pleasure working alongside Bella to debut her film, Her & Him as part of our Visionary Director's Series and help create genre-defying content that will appeal to our fast-growing—and increasingly diverse—audience," Pornhub VP Corey Price said.

Thorne said she was thankful for the opportunity.

"I'm really lucky that Pornhub wanted to come on and produce this with me because originally I was shopping it around a very long time ago and things were very different," Thorne said. "People are kind of scared to make a movie like this one when it comes to dominance and submissive(ness) between a male and a female and how this relationship can turn quite sour."

Pornhub reveals that the movie follows an "edgy twenty-something guy who stumbles upon a surprise text in his girlfriend's phone, interrupting their morning routine and spinning everything into an out-of-control sexually charged encounter."

Rapper Young M.A. was the first outsider to use the platform to release a film with her 2018 film The Gift. While they aren't making a movie for the platform, plenty of rappers will be performing at the 2019 Pornhub Awards on Oct. 11. Hosted by Asa Akira, Ty Dollar Sign, Bad Bunny, Rico Nasty, and Tommy Genesis will play the show held at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
