Bow Wow Accused of Body Shaming After Wendy Williams Post (UPDATE)

UPDATED 7/30, 4:20 p.m. ET: Though Wendy Williams didn't mention Bow Wow by name, she likely had him in mind when she called out body shamers on her show, Tuesday. "By the way, thank you for my panty shorts," she said, in reference to a pair of shorts that were presumably sent to her by Lil Nas X. "You know he has that deal with Wrangler, he knows I like panty shorts."

That's when Williams turned her attention to body shamers. "Please refrain from your body shame," she added. "You don't have to like it, but someone does." Williams' comments came after Bow Wow appeared to criticize her body on Twitter.

Bow Wow has now gotten himself tangled up in a back-and-forth with celebrity talk show host Wendy Williams.

This weekend, Bow Wow tweeted a picture of Wendy Williams on the beach in a bikini. The emojis hinted that Bow Wow was being critical.

"They say its a hot girl summer," Bow Wow wrote.

Bow Wow's post appears to be in response to Wendy criticizing his recent comments about ex-girlfriend Ciara. While performing at a club, Bow told the crowd "Y'all know I had this bitch first, right" in reference to his past relationship with the singer. This prompted Wendy to address Bow Wow on her show.

"We've all had somebody before we had you, men," Wendy said after joking about their height difference.

Many took Williams' side after Bow Wow's post, calling him out for body shaming.
