Netflix debuted the fourth season of Charlie Brooker's anthology series Black Mirror right at the tail end of 2017 and followed up with the interactive special, Bandersnatch. Black Mirror was officially renewed for season five in March, but Bandersnatch is just a single entry. No worries: There's still supposed to be a full season on the way.

"Netflix has told me that the fifth season of 'Black Mirror' is still to come in 2019," BuzzFeed TV editor Scott Bryan said on Twitter. "'Bandersnatch' was not the fifth season, but a standalone interactive film, in case you were wondering." Some initial reports claimed the special was the fifth season.

Miley Cyrus recently confirmed that she has a role in the next season of the show, which doesn't have a release date just yet. "If you guess it, then I will shake my head 'yes,' or 'no,'" she told Howard Stern, who subsequently informed his audience she nodded to indicate "yes." Charlie Brooker, as usual, has remained tight-lipped on the next season.
