The Kardashians Are Shutting Down Their Remaining Dash Boutiques

Kim Kardashian announced that the two remaining Dash boutiques will be shutting down.

The Kardashians are shuttering their remaining two Dash boutiques after close to 12 years of operation. According to Page Sixthe West Hollywood and Miami locations will both be shutting their doors for good. The third New York location has been closed since 2016.

Kim Kardashian made the initial announcement via her app. "After nearly 12 years, my sisters and I have decided to close the doors of our Dash stores," she said. "We’ve loved running Dash, but in the last few years we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on."

Originally located in Calabasas, Calif. (obviously), the first Dash store opened in 2006 and acted as one of the first moves the Kardashian family made to capitalize on the popularity of their reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians and subsequently dominate the pop culture world. The boutique even brought about a short-lived reality show of its own in 2015 titled Dash Dolls that took a look at the lives of the employees operating the stores on the day-to-day.

"We love our Dash Dolls and are so grateful for the amazing memories—and we have to give a special thanks to the Dash employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years! We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to everyone," Kim continued in her official announcement.

Despite one piece of the Kardashian empire crumbling, that does not mean the sisters are lacking things to keep them busy. For instance, motherhood is a responsibility all three women have now that they did not before, with Khloe being the latest sister to welcome her first child with the birth of her daughter True Thompson last week.

It remains unclear if Dash's online store will continue operation following the closing of the brick and mortar locations. An official closing date is also currently up in the air.
