André 3000 to Act in Upcoming Sc-Fi Movie About Convicts Sent to a Black Hole

André Benjamin aka André 3000 and Juliette Binoche have reportedly signed on to act in the upcoming sci-film High Life. The movie will be directed by Claire Denis. The script was written by Nick Laird, author Zadie Smith, Jean-Pol Fargeau, and Denis. 

The film will be about the story of convicts who are given the option to take time off their sentences on the condition they head out on a perilous journey to a black hole to find an energy source. But the authorities weren't completely forthcoming with the mission, as the convicts soon find. There's also some sexual experimentation going on. 

Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth (Nymphomaniac), Lars Eidinger (Clouds of Sils Maria), Agata Buzek (Redemption), Ewan Mitchell (The Last Kingdom), Jessie Ross (The Frankenstein Chronicles) and Claire Tran (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets) are also set to star in the film. 

3000 has previously acted in multiple movies including 2013's Jimi: All Is by My Side  as Jimi HendrixOutKast: Idlewild, Scary Movie 4Battle in SeattleFour Brothers, and others. 

High Life was announced some time ago. The film began principal photography in Germany in August of 2017. No word yet on a release date.
