Yella Beezy is back in police custody.

According to online jail records, the 30-year-old rapper—born Markies Deandre Conway—was arrested Thursday in connection to a 2021 sexual assault charge. The Collin County, Texas Sheriff’s Office apprehended Beezy just a day after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest, citing “bond held insufficient.” Beezy is currently being held on $1 million bond.

The news comes about six months after Beezy was arrested on multiple felony charges, including sexual assault as well as abandoning or endangering a child. He was also slapped with unlawful carrying a weapon, which is classified as a misdemeanor.

Shortly after the November arrest, it was reported that a woman accused Beezy of raping her during a date in April 2021.

The rapper denied the allegations in a video posted on Instagram.

“Y’all just gotta stop playing on my name, you know what I’m saying?” he began. “I was arrested on false allegations. I was arrested before I was even questioned and I knew about anything  that was going on, but it’s false allegations. Everybody that knows me knows that I’m not pressed over sex or anything of that nature. I ain’t no aggressive person, like, that don’t even fit me, at all.”

He then addressed the child endangerment charge, insisting he would never harm his kids or put them in danger.

“I die for my kids. So the child endangerment doesn’t have anything to do with anything sexual, for the people who can’t understand,” he said. “It’s something that happened when they came and arrested me. But I can’t really speak on a lot of the stuff.”

Complex has reached out to Beezy’s camp for comment. Stay tuned as more details become available.
