Months after releasing his album 4Eva In My Bag, rising Detroit rapper Tay B returns with the deluxe edition under his new partnership with Giant Music and AFLN Music Group.
4Eva In My Bag (Deluxe) features eight additional songs totaling 23, including new guest appearances from Lil Baby (“Rich All My Life”) and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (“Ask”).
“This was the best project I released and the best reaction I ever got from a project,” Tay B said regarding the album’s initial impact. “These new tracks are to show a step above what I just did.”
Released last July, 4Eva In My Bag saw Tay B team up with several fellow stars from Detroit’s burgeoning rap scene, as the LP featured guests like Babyface Ray (“Half on the Food”), Kash Doll (“Like Woah”), Peezy (“Money Different”), and Baby Money (“We Ain’t Even”).
Tay B discussed the talented Detroit rap ecosystem while speaking with Kazi magazine in 2021. “Honestly, in Detroit, if you are not authentic, people will call you out,” he shared. “We all know each other, so it is kind of hard to lie about what you are doing in your songs. We all embrace the real.”
As for his favorite artists in Detroit, Tay B added: “I like everyone and respect all the artists working out in the D right now. If I had to say who my favorites to work with.. man that’s hard. I would probably say the most chemistry would be with Babyface Ray, 42 Dugg, and my boy FMB DZ. I mess with Baby Money too. We can do like five-six songs in a couple of hours.”
