Fans and friends of recently-slain rapper Sidhu Moose Wala honoured his legacy at a candlelight vigil in Brampton on Saturday.
Held at 7 p.m. at Chinguacousy Park, the vigil remembered the Punjabi-Canadian rapper’s life with prayers, music, speeches, and a moment of silence. The event was organized by some of Wala’s closest friends in Canada, which he made while studying as an international student at Humber College. He was 29.
“Everyone is shocked by this loss. It’s unbelievable. He was too young,” said Deepi Cheema, a friend of Wala, to CP24. “His music and life motivated so many young people.
