Kehlani has reached album No. 3.

The singer shared their latest effort, Blue Water Road, on Friday, as a proper follow-up to 2020’s It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. The new record features input from guests like Thundercat, Syd, Justin Bieber, Jessie Reyez, Ambre, and Blxst.

Previously, Kehlani gave fans hints of what the album would sound like in singles “altar,” “little story,” and the Bieber collaboration “up at night.” It isn’t the first time Kehlani has teamed up with Bieber, after being featured on his 2020 effort Changes, but it is the first time that JB has seen his name on a Kehlani album.

Along with the album itself, Kehlani has announced in-store signings for fans. The singer will be touching down in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Georgia, and Chicago, all throughout this week and next to spread the word of new LP.

Last year, Kehlani covered Byrdie magazine and spoke about their decision to use she/they pronouns. “I don’t mind when people say ‘she’ at all, but something feels really affirming when people say ‘they,’” Kehlani said. “It feels like…you really see me.”
