Here Are the First Week Numbers for DJ Khaled's Chart-Topping Album ‘God Did'

DJ Khaled's latest album 'God Did' barely surpassed Bad Bunny's 'Un Verano Sin Ti' to claim the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 in its debut week.

DJ Khaled’s latest album God Did slightly edged out Un Verano Sin Ti by Bad Bunny to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Billboardreports.

Khaled’s 13th studio effort earned 107,500 equivalent album units, of which 96,000 came by way of SEA units, equaling 129.82 million on-demand streams of the set’s tracks. The remaining sum consisted of 9,500 units in traditional album sales, and 2,000 TEA units. This is his tenth album to crack the top 10 and fourth to reach the top spot, joining Major Key, Grateful, and Khaled Khaled.

The only Khaled album that failed to finish atop the Billboard 200 over the last six years was 2019’s Father of Asahd, which infamously caused him to lash out at Tyler, the Creator where he characterized his music as “mysterious shit” after his Grammy-winning album Igor claimed the top spot.

Un Verano Sin Ti finished in a close second with 106,000 equivalent album units. Bad Bunny’s fourth solo studio album has never fallen below No. 2 in its 17 weeks on the Billboard 200, a feat that hasn’t been accomplished since Views by Drake in 2016.

Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers soared from No. 24 to fourth after a significant boost from vinyl sales, which accounted for 36,000 of its 38,000 units in album sales. Vinyl sales also helped revitalize Silk Sonic’s album An Evening With Silk Sonic, which saw a 4,595 percent increase in album sales, catapulting it from No. 200 to No. 7 this week.

Coming in at No. 10 was Queen Radio: Volume 1, the greatest hits compilation from Nicki Minaj, making it her sixth straight top 10 album.
