Video Shows Desiigner Getting Into Tense Exchange With Police After Being Pulled Over

A video shows Desiigner arguing with officers after he was pulled over in Los Angeles for allegedly having tinted windows on his vehicle and no license plate.

TMZ reports Desiigner was involved in a tense exchange with officers after being pulled over in Los Angeles earlier today.

A source tells TMZ that authorities pulled over Desiigner because of his vehicle’s tinted windows and an absence of license plates. The “Panda” rapper allegedly got out of his car and approached the cop who pulled him over. It’s unclear what happened prior to the situation escalating with Desiigner screaming in the direction of the officers with what appears to be his phone out, and calling one of them a “racist bitch.”

According to TMZ, Desiigner was set off by one of the officers pulling out pepper spray.

Desiigner seems to shrug off the officer’s threat to take his vehicle, firing back, “I got money all f*****g day.” He later tells an onlooker recording the interaction, “You know who I am right? Desiigner. Panda,” in reference to his hit 2016 song.

The situation settled down after additional cops arrived and were able to speak with Desiigner, who eventually signed his ticket and left.

Late last year, Desiigner released a song titled “Letter to Ye,” which was dedicated to his former collaborator Kanye West. The track found the 25-year-old striking a contemplative tone as he thought about the heights he reached while on the G.O.O.D. Music label at the age of 17. The Brooklyn native eventually aired out his issues with G.O.O.D. Music before pushing for his release and ultimately getting his wish.
