Conan O'Brien, like, really gets it. Dude knows that the only proper way to rip through a contentious round of Gears of War 4 with someone who's calmly and charismatically high is to get calmly and charismatically high yourself. That's why, for the latest edition of his popular "Clueless Gamer" segment with special guest Wiz Khalifa, Conan actually seems way less clueless than ever before.
"This is one of the most intense, brutal, violent, and disturbing games out there, so I wanted to bring someone in who could help mellow out the vibe a little bit," Conan explained to his audience on Thursday's show. After Wiz walked in and immediately made the room mellower, Conan elaborated on his usual cluelessness regarding massively popular video game franchises.
"I'm terrible at video games," Conan told Wiz. "I'm pretty good at Candy Crush, anything that has a fruit in it like a strawberry or Fruit Ninja." Wiz, clearly impressed, promptly cosigned the profound importance of fruit. "That's what's up," Wiz noted. "I can see why. I mean, fruits and vegetables are good for you and shit."
After a brief moment of hesitance, Conan then joined Wiz in a state of unbroken inner peace.
You too can reach this level of unity with Gears of War 4 when the highly anticipated third-person shooter, the fifth installment in the Gears of War saga, hits Xbox One and Windows platforms Oct. 11.
