Luh Tyler is fresh off making his Rolling Loud debut at the California edition of the festival. In a recent chat with regional Florida outlet Tallahassee Democrat, Tyler—who at 17 has already bagged a YouTube hit with last year’s “Law & Order”—reflected on his fast rise to global stages. He also outlined what gives him motivation as he navigates the excitement and challenges of new fame.

According to Tyler, he stays motivated by imaging what his work could mean for his family. “I think about how I could make sure my family don’t gotta worry about nothing,” he told the publication last month.

In tandem with the release of his debut mixtape, Luh Tyler has also shared a new video for “You Was Laughing.”
