Kodak Black, who's currently in jail in Florida, recently laid down a few new verses over the phone.

Kodak producer/engineer Dyryk said as much Tuesday, telling fans to "stay tuned" for something new in the near future. "Recorded a couple verses over the phone yesterday got me ready," he said. "About to smack all of y'all with another 🌊." Dyryk also shared a clip of a mysterious new track, sans vocals:

Since his arrest in January on multiple charges following a police raid of his residence, Kodak has released several new tracks. His Heartbreak Kodak project dropped in February, accompanied by a Rick Ross collab and a new video for "1800 Nights (Kno the Meaning Freestyle)."

Shortly after the arrest, Kodak's legal team argued that the circumstances were suspicious. Attorney Bradford Cohen questioned the absence of bodycam footage from the arresting officers, as well as the involvement of the gang task force. Multiple charges—including possession of a weapon or ammunition by a delinquent, child neglect, and grand theft of a firearm—were later dismissed. In February, Kodak pleaded guilty to the remaining charges of weed and ammunition possession.

Last October, Kodak was indicted in South Carolina for first-degree sexual conduct. He's accused of assaulting a "teenage girl" at a Comfort Inn and Suites hotel while in Florence for a live performance. As part of his bond conditions, Kodak is not allowed to address the allegations in public and must have zero contact with the alleged victim and their family.
