Dave Matthews Covered Migos, Cardi B, and Lil Pump for Some Reason

Dave Matthews, he of the Dave Matthews Band, got together with Jimmy Fallon and decided the world needs even more acoustic covers of modern rap classics.

If the thought of Dave Matthews coming anywhere near a Migos song sounds like something that won't induce immediate nausea in you and everyone around you, the video above is probably something you'll be able to tolerably consume.

Thursday night, Jimmy Fallon had Matthews on that little show he hosts to run through a Dave Matthews Sings Trap Music bit. By Fallon's estimation, the bit gave Matthews' fans a chance to see the "master of the outdoor jam band [bring] you 25 of the dankest, tastiest trap tunes ever recorded."

Anyway, footage of Matthews performing Migos' "Stir Fry," Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," and Lil Pump's "Gucci Gang" can be found above.

I still tragically have, like, 130 words until I reach my quota, so let's talk Cardi B. She's currently on the cover of Rolling Stone alongside soon-to-be-husband Offset. In the accompanying interview, Cardi kept it commendably candid and truth-forward when discussing Trumpism. Trump, she said, has "proven himself to be a madman" on multiple occasions. "Clinton got impeached for cheating on his wife, and it's so clear that this n***a has sex with so many porn stars, and he's just been shown to be a dickhead, and it's like, 'Nope,'" she said.

With approximately 40 more words to go, I leave you with this: the Dave Matthews Band's new album Come Tomorrow just opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, besting Kanye West and Kid Cudi's Kids See Ghosts and something called The Mountain by someone named Dierks Bentley.
