After a brief hiatus, T Pain stepped back into the limelight when he released his fifth studio album, Oblivion, in 2017, and it looks like he isn't taking any more breaks just yet. The legendary Florida rapper dropped a remix, or "T Mix," of fellow Floridian Kodak Black's "Roll in Peace" and truly snapped. In the wise words of one YouTube user, "y'all thought T Pain fell off think twice lil bihhh da king is back"—precisely.

His remix is in part a tribute to Florida, and to the currently incarcerated Black. He shouts out his home state and fellow rapper while sending shots at others who claim they're the only real ones from Florida. T Pain also calls for the exoneration of his homie: "Set my n*gga Kodak free/That ain't where he supposed to be."

After dropping the mix, T Pain opened his mentions up for suggestions, asking fans what he should "T Mix" next.

"Roll in Peace" is likely our first taste of the upcoming T Mixtape he's previously teased, which we'll be looking out for in the coming months. Fingers crossed an official A$AP Rocky x T Pain track makes the cut.
