Jay Rock's latest album, Redemption is set to be released later this month, and the TDE rapper just released an album trailer just in time to get fans hyped for its impending arrival.
Redemption drops on June 15 and marks Jay Rock's third studio album. The 33-year-old rapper's latest release will launch him back into orbit with some of his fellow big-name Top Dawg labelmates. The trailer, which he released on Twitter, is captioned "Road to #Redemption Trailer," and actually looks more like a documentary-style biopic than an album teaser.
Old footage of Jay Rock is spliced in between clips of other TDE members like Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q commenting on Rock, his personality, and what his career means for the legacy of the label. Listening closely, fans can also hear a brief snippet of what is presumably a new song off of Redemption in the trailer as well.
