Young Scooter

Months after releasing his Trippple Cross mixtape, Young Scooter is back again with his song "New Hunnids."

The rapper is known for collaborating with his Atlanta contemporaries, as he has frequently partnered with artists such as Future and Young Thug over the years. With this new track, Scooter doesn't deviate from his tried-and-true formula, as Yung Bans steps in to provide the second verse, and YSL mainstay Gunna jumps in to close the song.

“I chose Gunna and Yung Bans for this joint because these are two of the young cats I’m fuckin with right now in the A, and they’re like family to me," Scooter told Complex. "When I played them 'New Hunnids' the vibe was just right, and we made an instant smash for the streets.”

Gunna has been having a monumental 2018. Drip Harder, Gunna's collaborative effort with fellow hometown hero Lil Baby, is estimated to move as many as 125,000 album equivalent units in its first week. Gunna also isn't suffering from a shortage of content either, as Lil Baby recently informed Complex that the two of them have enough music in the stash to release Drip Harder 2 if they really wanted to.

Check out "New Hunnids" below. Scooter's new project The Recipe is due out later this year.
