Offset is feeling the love.

The Georgia-born rapper hit up Instagram this week to reflect on his powerful performance at the 2023 BET Awards. It was a pleasant surprise for many Migos fans, as it signaled a reconciliation between Offset and Quavo. The two reportedly had a falling out after the release of Migos’ Culture III, and their relationship became increasingly strained following the death of fellow Migos’ member Takeoff. But thankfully for fans, the rappers put their differences aside for at least one night and came together to salute their fallen brother.

“I love all my fans. I love of y’all. We did the BET performance, man. It was iconic, man,” Offset said during an Instagram Live broadcast. “It cleared my soul. Me and my brother Quay, man, we put that together within, like, 16 hours, like, 15 hours …We do that ’cause we’re some real stars. We do this music. We the greatest group to ever touch the mic. RIP my brother, Take. We did it for my brother Take. Me and Quay stood tall, brother to brother. And I appreciate everybody for supporting. It was a movie, it was a vibe. We needed that for the culture.”

Offset revealed he and Quavo spent hours working on the BET Awards performance and even sacrificed their sleep to ensure everything was just right. They locked down everything, including performance visuals, the stage positioning, and the lighting. After hours of work, the two treated audiences to a rendition of “Bad N Boujee,” Migos’ chart-topping 2016 single.

“It’s always gonna be cinematic,” he continued. “Thank god for that moment. We did it for Take.”

Insiders told TMZ that the two had privately squashed their beef “some time ago,” but had no plans to record new music together. The two were recently spotted together to celebrate Takeoff's birthday, giving fans hope that their bond has been repaired.
