Bankroll Fresh would have turned 29 on August 2, so his friends decided to remember him by sharing a previously unreleased song and video touching on the late rapper's life.

Produced by GottiRockSolid, the "Ran Up a Check" video offers an intimate look at Bankroll's career through clips that show the everyday moments of the rapper's personal life including chipping away at songs in the studio, hanging with his kids, and taking the stage while out on the road. The whole thing was created with footage provided by JB, 2 Chainz's DJ ESudd, and Joe Moore Productions.

Bankroll Fresh was shot and killed outside Street Execs Studios in Atlanta, Ga. this past March. The entire music community mourned the loss including the likes of 2 Chainz, Zaytoven, and Metro Boomin all offering heartfelt tributes to one of the most promising rappers in the game while the Atlanta community held a candlelight vigil in his memory. He "touched may lives, and lit up every room he went into," 2 Chainz said when speaking on the rapper he had taken under his wing.

Watch the video above to remember his legacy. R.I.P. Bankroll.
