R&B vocalist and rapper Kevin McCall broke down in tears over his severed relationship with Chris Brown on the latest episode of podcast Back on Figg.
McCall, who collaborated with Brown on songs like "Deuces" and Strip" has had a contentious relationship with the two-time Grammy winner for roughly fifteen years. As McCall told DJ Vlad in 2021, the singer-songwriter and rapper claimed that they fell out after "Strip" released, alleging that Brown began to be surrounded by "fake" people.
On the Monday (October 20) episode of Back on Figg, Brown was mentioned again, and McCall became emotional while alleging that the 11:11 artist owes him $25,000 for four songs he wrote. Around the 46:00 mark of the video below, McCall pulled out and tossed his EBT card.
"Why the fuck I got an EBT card and this n***a is at Breezy Bowl and made ninety-whatever-the-fuck million?" McCall asked.
"I can't even get nothing. Bro, man. Y'all n***as wanna see a n***a cry on here so y'all can think I'm a bitch," McCall continued. "That shit ain't fair, n***a!"
McCall, who shares a nine-year-old daughter, Marley Rae, with model and actress Eva Marcille, also shared that he previously had suicidal ideations, before the Back on Figg crew encouraged him.
After catching the interview, Young Thug, who collaborated with Brown on 2020 mixtape, Slime & B, told McCall to reach out to him for the $25,000 he's allegedly owed.
In a video after his fall out with McCall, Brown mocked the artist for taking credit of his work and even called him a "bitch."
In nearly fifteen years since working with McCall, Brown has released six solo studio albums, and his recent tour grossed over $100 million in ticket sales.
