Surprise! After four years of marriage, Justin and Hailey Bieber are expecting their first child. The couple revealed the pregnancy in an intimate video and photo carousel shared to Instagram on Thursday (May 9), with shots of Bieber taking pictures of his wife wearing a wedding-inspired dress.
Joining them in the video appeared to be a marriage officiant, although the Biebers exchanged vows in September 2018. Two years later, the Justice singer appeared on the former talk show Ellen, where he explained that he was following Hailey's lead when it came to having children.
"I'm going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out," Bieber said around the four-minute mark of the video below. "I'd love to have myself a little tribe, but yeah, it's her body and whatever she wants to do."
While speculation about Hailey being pregnant arised during Coachella last month, she shut down pregnancy rumors last October in an interview with GQ Hype, promising that the internet would be "the last to know."
"It’s also such a private, intimate thing. It’s something that’s going to come when it comes," she continued. "And it’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people fucking care. Let me do what I want to do with my body, and you guys can do what you want to do with your body — and let’s just let it be that."
