Joel Osteen and Kanye West’s budding relationship is one that Osteen hopes will continue into the New Year.

“I’d love to do more,” Osteen told TMZ, when asked if they’ll bring their holy events to other cities. “He wants to do more so we’ll see. We’re talking about some other events too.”

The pair are thinking about bringing their show to one location in particular: Kanye's hometown of Chicago. “Some things have to fall together, but it looks like it may,” Osteen said.

When asked if Yeezy’s newfound faith is real, Osteen told the outlet, “I feel like he’s definitely genuine.” He continued, “Only God knows a person’s heart. I’m for giving people the benefit of the doubt and he seems like it to me. Every time I’m around him, he’s a great guy. Sincere, he loves to help people out and lift people’s spirits. So that’s a great thing.” Osteen added, “I love the message that he’s spreading.”

Yeezy and Osteen are reportedly reuniting at Yankee Stadium on May 2 as part of the pastor’s “America’s Night of Hope” series. While it's Osteen’s first Yankee Stadium event with 'Ye, it marks his third time bringing the series to the venue.

Like 'Ye’s appearance at Osteen’s Lakewood megachurch in November, Osteen will give a sermon while West (presumably accompanied by his Sunday Service collective) will perform. Some controversy surrounded the Lakewood event, where 'Ye, at one point, told attendees that he was “the greatest artist that God has ever created.”

The details for the Yankee Stadium event are still being straightened out. Tickets for previous Osteen events at Yankee Stadium have hovered around the $15 mark.
