The wait is almost over. Metro Boomin and Nav’s collaborative project is expected to drop next week.
Metro broke the news Wednesday night, nearly seven months after announcing he and the XO artist had new music on the way. The project, which is titled Perfect Timing, is set to drop July 21; however, fans will get their first taste tomorrow.
In addition to sharing the release date and cover art, Metro also announced the project’s lead singles Metro also shared the cover art, “Call Me” and “Perfect Timing Intro,” are set to drop Thursday night.
It’s been a pretty big year for both Metro and Nav. The latter released his self-titled debut mixtape back in February, shortly after announcing his deal with The Weeknd's XO imprint and Republic Records. Metro has also spent the first half of 2017 releasing material with names like Drake, Offset, Gucci Mane, Future, Kodak Black, and 21 Savage. Just last month, the famed producer also announced the official launch of his label, Boominati Worldwide.
“Launching Boominati Worldwide is the next step in my career as a producer, an artist, and a businessman,” he said in a statement. “I created the label to represent a collective of highly-gifted individuals who have the shared gift of being able to influence the world through culture and art.”
