Jay Rock is back.

Nearly three years after he released his sophomore album, 90059, the Watts-bred rapper has blessed fans with Redemption. The 13-track project was announced several weeks ago; however, Jay has been teasing it for a minute. He spoke about the album during an appearance on L.A. Leakers back in January.

“I’m just here to give you the real man and just basically just give y’all more of me. And just showing you more my growth, you know what I mean?” he explained. “That’s basically what I’m doing on this album […] Like I said, everything is a growing process. Everybody say, ‘Everybody stay the same.’ But nah, you grow, man. You get wiser and you go through stuff—you go through trials and tribulations. And you’re going to hear it in the music.”
