Fat Joe's 'Family Ties' to Feature Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and More (UPDATE)

The project is set to arrive next week.

UPDATED 12/3, 8:20 a.m. ET: The list of contributors to Fat Joe's Family Ties expands as the veteran rapper has revealed Rich Paul—founder of Klutch Sports Group and agent to LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and more—co-produced a record on his new album titled "Hands on You."

"Rich Paul's creativity isn't just limited to sports and business—he brings strong ideas from a music standpoint too," Fat Joe recently told Sports Illustrated of Paul's rap producer debut. "Rich is family, so it's only right that we collaborate with him and Boi-1da on Family Ties and this special 'Hands on You' record."

Family Ties is due out Dec. 6.

During an October interview on L.A. LeakersFat Joe confirmed his Family Ties album would be stacked with big-name features.

"The features on this album, that I'm not gonna tell you about, are the greatest," he said. "Phenomenal, is what I'm trying to tell you. The biggest on earth."

Well, he wasn't lying. On Thursday, the Bronx rapper unveiled Family Tie's official release date, as well as the list of artists who will appear on the album, made in collaboration with Dre of Cool & Dre. The project will include appearances by Lil Wayne, Cardi B, Mary J. Blige, Jeremih, Ty Dolla Sign, Hitmaka, and Boi-1da.

"It's only right that I share my family with yours," he wrote in an Instagram post.

One of the first peeks at the project is the new single, "Deep," which feature Dre from Cool & Dre. Its video, directed by Irv Gotti, is available exclusively on TIDAL.

There's plenty of heavy-hitters, no doubt, but the most notable name on the list had to be Eminem. According to Joe, Em had tried to connect with him at the beginning of his career. But Joe, for some reason, wasn't interested.

"Eminem out here in Miami, he gave me his demo like six different times," Joe revealed during a sit-down with Miami's 99 Jamz radio station. "Everywhere I went was this little white boy and he kept giving me his demo. He was like, ‘Yo, listen to my music, I’m telling you, I’m nice, I’m nice, I’m nice.’... I didn’t do it and now he’s the biggest guy in the universe."

We'll have to wait to see what Joe and Em cooked up. Family Ties is scheduled to drop Dec. 6.
