Ella Mai has reached another career milestone.

After releasing a handful of EPs over the years, the British singer-songwriter has finally delivered her debut self-titled studio album. The project spans 16 tracks and includes guests appearances by John Legend ("Everything"), H.E.R. ("Gut Feeling"), and Chris Brown ("Whatchamacallit").

Shortly after her performance at this week's American Music Awards, Ella spoke to Billboard about the project, which has been called a "throwback R&B" record.

"I think a lot of people thought R&B is dead, which I don’t understand how anyone could think that," she explained. "In my opinion, it’s the best genre in the world. Music is personal preference, but R&B definitely tackles love the way it happens. There’s no beating around the bush with R&B."

You can stream Ella's debut album now on all major streaming services. The 23-year-old is currently on the road for Bruno Mars' 24k Magic World Tour, which wraps up next month in Hawaii.
