Snoop Dogg Delivers a New Anthem for His Hometown on "I'm From Long Beach"

Things have been pretty quiet for Snoop Dogg musically since he dropped his Pharrell-assisted album Bush earlier this year. Today, he decided to end the drought and release a new song via SoundCloud. "I'm From Long Beach" is a laid-back tribute to his hometown. "Beach city, beach city/That's my claim to fame," he raps, reminiscing about growing up in the California beach town. It's all classic Snoop, but it carries the same renewed creative spark that he exhibited on Bush.
