Young Thug Says 'Tha Carter V' Won't Be as 'Hard' as Lil Baby and Gunna's 'Drip Harder'

It's officially Tha Carter V eve, and everyone in the hip-hop world is excited to see what Lil Wayne is going to deliver with his long-delayed 12th studio album. Young Thug, who has always been a huge fan of Weezy, chimed in too, explaining that he's one of his "biggest fans." Despite this, he said that Carter V won't be "harder" than Gunna and Lil Baby's joint mixtape Drip Harder.

As DJ Akademiks points out, Thugger shared the message on his Instagram. It's unlikely that he's intending to take shots at Tunechi, likely sharing his take on his Instagram story as a bit of friendly competition.

From what we've heard from the project so far, it's likely Lil Baby and Gunna's Drip Harder is going to hit pretty hard. Whether Tha Carter V hits harder, though, remains to be seen.

Tha Carter V is due to drop tomorrow (Sept. 28), and the tracklist for the project still hasn't been revealed. It's almost a guarantee Drake will appear on the record and TMZ recently reported that Post Malone contributed to the album at the last minute, recording a contribution on Wednesday (Sept. 26).
