Chicago rapper Warhol.SS burst onto the scene last year with his distinctive voice and a series of catchy, off-kilter bangers. Now he's readying his debut album,Β Chest Pains, and ahead of its releaseΒ he shared the CashmoneyAP-produced "With Ease."
Instead of employing his commonly gravelly voice, "With Ease" finds the rapper having a little more fun with his voice over the playful instrumental. It's a change of pace for him that works, showing that he's more than capable of working with multiple styles. It's clear that his forthcoming full-length project will have plenty of new sounds to chew on.
βChest Pains took me nearly twoΒ years to create, and songs like this are the reason why," Warhol told Complex.Β "I had to recreate my sound and get comfortable with how I sounded on a more mellow beat like this. 'With Ease' shows my growth as an artist since I last dropped a project and I can tell you Iβm here to set a statement. Period.β
Recently, Warhol teased hisΒ projectΒ with a video of him hanging withΒ Famous Dex.
