After a video showed a fan falling from the balcony at the Apollo Theater during Drake’s show on Sunday, the NYC venue has released a statement.

“Unfortunately, last evening an incident occurred with an audience member who landed in the orchestra from the lower mezzanine,” reads the statement. “Drake, Apollo and SiriusXM halted the show immediately when learning of a potential fan injury and standard protocols were taken. They were seen immediately by EMS on site. The fan and other audience members reported that they were OK. No major injuries have been reported. The Apollo is investigating the situation further."

The moment happened around the time Drizzy brought out 21 Savage, his Her Loss collaborator. In a video seen below, the two rappers were approached by a member of the venue’s staff to inform them that someone had fallen. “Alright, just gotta make sure someone’s okay,” Drake said, prompting a brief pause to the performance as they checked the person who fell got medical attention. The concert eventually resumed about 15 minutes after.

According to sources who spoke with TMZ, the person who fell was a 26-year-old man who appeared to be intoxicated at the time. Another source, however, told Page Six that the person “jumped into the crowd from the balcony because he was so hyped.” They added that he landed on New York Giants players,  some of whom were in attendance.
