Rapper Tory Lanez was briefly detained by TSA agents at Las Vegas Airport after a “large” amount of marijuana was allegedly discovered in his bag, TMZ reports.

Lanez was stopped when he arrived at the airport to leave Vegas on Sunday. Law enforcement sources said that Lanez was released not long after he was detained, but TSA kept the marijuana. It’s unclear if he will face charges for attempting to board a flight with marijuana in his bag, but the investigation is ongoing.

While recreational weed is legal in the state of Nevada, people are still not permitted to fly with the drug, regardless of whether or not it’s being taken to another state where it is also legal.

This isn’t the only legal issue Lanez has had as of late. Just last month, the rapper was cuffed in court and remanded to custody after Judge David V. Herriford of the Superior Court of Los Angeles found him in violation of a protection order in connection with the Megan Thee Stallion assault case.

Recently, Megan gave her first full interview about the incident with Gayle King. She said that following the 2020 shooting, in which Lanez was allegedly the triggerman, the rapper offered her $1 million to keep quiet about the incident.

“I’ll give y’all a million dollars if y’all don’t say nothing,” he’s alleged to have said, per Megan.
