Tainy Drops New Album 'DATA' f/ Bad Bunny, Skrillex, and More

The star-studded full-length solo debut features Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, Skrillex, Rauw Alejandro, Wisin Y Yandel, Arcangel, and others.

Puerto Rican producer and songwriter Tainy has released his star-studded new solo debut album, DATA.

The 19-track effort features appearances from some of his frequent collaborators and new collaborators alike. Among the impressive series of guests is Bad Bunny, Skrillex, Arca, Four Tet, and Rauw Alejandro. In the lead-up to the album's release, Tainy shared videos for "Obstáculo" with Myke Towers, "Fantasma" with JhayCo, and "La Baby" with Daddy Yankee, Feid, and Sech.

To coincide with the release of the project, Tainy has also debuted the music video for "Mojabi Ghost" featuring Bad Bunny.

“The album name, DATA, comes from the idea that music and songs are information that we receive, DATA for our brains that in many ways shape who we are,” Tainy told Complex of the album. “So I took that idea as a metaphor, and treated the concept of the album like a movie in which I create a cyborg called ‘Sena’ who we see in the cover, and each track is DATA that I'm uploading to make her come to life.”
