Jacquees wants to be left out of the drama surrounding Keke Palmer and the father of her child.

Palmer's boyfriend Darius Daulton Jackson sparked a lot of discussion online after he negatively reacted to a video of Usher singing "There Goes My Baby" to his girlfriend, who he criticized for wearing a revealing outfit. "It's usher like cmon now," Twitter user @b0mbchell_ wrote, apparently suggesting that Jackson shouldn't worry about Usher. "I could see if it was Jacquees."

In a response, Jacquees wrote, "😂😂 Leave me out of it."

The drama between Palmer and Jackson kicked off after he appeared to take issue with her choice of outfit in a video where the R&B singer sang to her. "It's the outfit tho," wrote Jackson on his since-deleted Twitter account, referring to Palmer's sheer black dress and thong bodysuit. "You a mom."

His criticism of the outfit was met with a swift backlash, with some calling him a hypocrite for posting photos of himself in his underwear. Despite the critics, he doubled down on his comments. "We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is," he tweeted. "This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case."

Social media sleuths later noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. After Jackson's initial comment, Palmer shared a series of photos on IG in an apparent response. "I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late!" she wrote, indicating she's unbothered by Jackson's thoughts on her choice of clothing. "I am telling y'all right now, if you haven't seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer.

Usher shared what appeared to be a response to the situation when he made his first post on Threads. "Am I trending yet?" he wrote.
