Ice Spice is celebrating the first-week numbers for her long-awaited debut studio album, Y2K!

Per Chart Data, the Bronx rapper's debut full-length debuted at the No. 18 spot on the Billboard 200 with 28,000 equivalent album units. While it's not the best first week for the artist, who previously scored four top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, Ice Spice has responded to the news by celebrating how far she's come since dropping her first EP Like..? in 2023.

"Like..? did 15k so thank u to everyone who supported me then & thank u to all the new supporters," wrote the rapper, comparing the first-week numbers to the debut of Like..? at No. 37 in 2023. "Y2K! WORLD TOUR been so fun that these numbers are cool and all but bitch u should of seen that Boston CROWD last night."

It's worth noting that Ice Spice's new album only runs 23 minutes across ten tracks, which makes it stand apart from some of the longer projects that dominate the Billboard 200. Each stream of a song contributes toward the equivalent album units, which means she still made an impressive showing considering the brevity of the project, which features big-name guests like Travis Scott, Gunna, and Central Cee.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Ice Spice spoke about her humble beginning working at a Billionaire Boys Club warehouse during the COVID-19 pandemic.
