4/19/22 2:30 p.m. ET: Brandon Bills has addressed the TMZ report, saying he is not going to press charges and that he’s not a “snitch.”

“I was never cooperating, I was never gonna cooperate. I was never gonna put nobody in jail. I’ve been to jail myself,” he said. “I’m not gonna put nobody in that situation. All y’all talking all that snitch shit… Ain’t nobody a snitch here. Never will be a snitch, never was a snitch. That shit went viral, the whole world saw it.”

The lawsuit that DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon Bills, filed against DaBaby over their bowling alley fight has hit a major snag over his lack of cooperation.

The investigation into the incident is essentially on pause because Bills is allegedly no longer cooperating with authorities, TMZ reports. Even though the fight was caught on camera, with Bills seemingly the victim of violence from DaBaby and his crew, law enforcement sources said communication has broken down with the victim. Police first launched an investigation into the fight, in which DaBaby claimed he acted in self-defense, back in February. The video appeared to show the rapper throw the first punch.

The investigation into the fight is still ongoing, but due to a lack of cooperation from Bills, there likely won’t be any progress with the case anytime soon, per TMZ. DaBaby’s lawyer, Drew Findling, has said Bills’ lawsuit wastes “time and energy.” He said that it was “offensive” that he sought to take legal action, and accused him of instigating the violence in the first place.

DaBaby had a child with DaniLeigh last year, but their break-up was messy and she has since said the rapper is an “evil ass man.” Following an Instagram Stream last year, DaBaby faced criticism after he appeared to record DaniLeigh feeding their infant daughter during the broadcast. She later said he “called the fucking cops on me,” and demanded she leave his house. The bowling alley fight is believed to have stemmed from Bills’ issues with how DaBaby handled the break-up.

Last week, DaBaby shot a trespasser outside his North Carolina estate in the leg.
